Microsoft unveils four new titles that Xbox Live subscribers are getting for the month of July as part of the Games with Gold program. In July 2016, the company is making available two free games for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360 for a total of $69 worth of games.

During the month of July 2016, Xbox One owners with an active Xbox Live Gold subscription can download The Banner Saga 2 ($19.99 ERP) for free. Then on July 16th through August 15th, Tumblestone ($19.99 ERP) will be available as a free download (link not yet available).

Two more multiplayer maps, as well as a Sam Flynn character skin, were made available at the game's launch as downloadable content through codes included in the game package.[4] Five more maps and the Black Guard character skin were released in a downloadable pack; one of these, the "Classic" map, is a replica of the light cycle grid from the original Tron film.[5]

The game starts with video footage of Kevin Flynn who is discussing the existence of ISOs (Isomorphic Algorithms), a group of programs with a measure of free will that has emerged spontaneously on the Grid, and are disliked by the Basic programs. Jalen, one of the leaders of the ISOs, recently died and Flynn suspects the murder was organized by Clu, a second version of the original program from the first film. Flynn has got Anon to try to control the system.

Downloadable content is available via digital download.[7] A limited edition was available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It contains a Light Cycle collectible model by Sideshow Collectibles, a display case for the model, and the game.[8]

GameSpot said of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions: "TRON: Evolution mixes free-running platforming with simple but engaging combat and is a fun if slightly repetitive trip back into the digital world of the Grid."[14] Eurogamer called the Xbox 360 version "a game that entertains without inspiring, doing enough to settle comfortably into the realms of "good" while never exerting the additional effort required to raise expectations any higher."[11] GamePro said of the same console version: "Tron newcomers probably needn't apply, but those who count the original film among their favorites may want to enter Evolution's grid."[13] IGN, in contrast, gave a somewhat mixed review, saying that "It's a repetitive cyberpunk Prince of Persia. The platforming and combat are flashy, but both feel awkward to control and get really competitive."[18][19]

Radia then summons Quorra and Anon to her. Quorra tells her that Anon didn't kill Flynn and Tron. Radia then downloads Quorra's memory to see what really happened. She sees the truth about Clu, but also discovers that Flynn lives. Tron sacrificed himself to protect him. Radia tells Quorra to inform the other ISO factions of what has happened. She tells Quorra that "more than you can imagine, our future rests with you." As Quorra leaves, Radia tells Anon to find Flynn. She tells him that a program named Gibson helped Flynn to escape the city. Gibson was then arrested and taken to the Game Arena to battle to the death. The best hope of finding Flynn is to first find Gibson. Anon leaves the hub and is attacked by another recognizer dropping off some sentries. He battles his way across the city, trying get back to the Solar Sailer docks. He gets into another tank and fights off many recognizers. Anon finally gets on a Solar Sailer and heads to the game grid arena.

Anon's primary weapon is his disc. He has a long range light attack, a close range melee attack, and a Heavy attack which can be upgraded with four types as you progress through the game. Heavy for hard hits, Bomb for extra damage, Stasis to slow enemies down and Corruption to drain their health. If you hold down block while pressing heavy attack, Anon will unleash a powerful attack. Hold sprint and press heavy attack will deal out quick area damage. He also has a Mag disc upgrade which he can use to pull himself toward energy points for quick travel. He starts at Version 1 and has 50 upgradeable Versions. Each version imbues him with more memory so he can download and install more upgrades and attacks.

If you pay $60 annually for an Xbox Live Gold membership, you get a handful of free games every single month. The program works very similarly to Sony's PlayStation Plus program, with one significant difference: every single game offered through Games With Gold is compatible with Xbox One.

One of the two games available next month with Games with Gold on Xbox One is The Banner Saga 2, a tactical role-playing game that launched in April on Microsoft Windows and Mac, and was excepted to arrive on consoles on July 26. The game will now come to Xbox Live first and will be available to Gold users free of cost for a month (costs $19.99 normally) before launching on PlayStation 4 on July 5, according to publisher Versus Evil.

August is coming up fast and Xbox Live Gold members are excited to find out already what new free games for Xbox One and Xbox 360 will be included in the lineup for next month. No official information has been released yet but there are rumors going around.

The inclusion of the mentioned games in the Xbox Games With Gold August lineup is just pure speculation so it's best to take it with a pinch of salt. But if the rumors turn out to be correct, then Gold subscribers who have been waiting for those titles to go free can enjoy them by next month. 041b061a72
