Vanitas No Carte Episode 2

This season of Vanitas is being brought to the medium of anime by Studio Bones, a giant behind classic anime shows such as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and My Hero Academia. The season is being directed by Tomoyuki Itamura, who also directed part 1 of the show, alongside several shows of the Monogatari series. Vanitas no Carte Episode 2

After a nothing episode, it was high time we got some juicy bits to chomp on. Worry not, as we got plenty of material here. First, let us establish where we were before this episode. Vanitas, Noe, and some more bounty hunters went out to find a monster who was rumoured to have their real name stolen and terrorised a village. They met Jeanne there, who has her own motives for that monster, a fight ensues because of a nobody misgendering a powerful church official, and Noe got kidnapped by another group of people.

The premise of this episode is to prove whether or not the Book of Vanitas is a tome of blight. Normal vampires are terrified of this tome, and understandably so. It was created to contaminate them after all. In fact, vampires that become curse-bearers are to be executed because of said fear, as is the impending fate of Amelia Ruth. 041b061a72
