The sole units for my membership, so this year I can't post scorecard statistics on this game. The main problem, as mentioned above, is that there is no reliable and consistent interface that can be accepted by any website, or indeed any other application. This is a very big problem and a serious hurdle to the development of a worldwide online database of anything. If the cricket authorities or cricketing associations were to take responsibility for creating a world database of scores and statistics, it would be a roaring success. I am willing to be part of any such project. It is the more so because of the fact that I am connected with the official site of the Australian Cricket Board (not the commercial arm that makes television programs) which is www. matchcentre. com. This site allows anyone to record a match and upload their own scores and statistics, and there are so many thousands of clubs and associations around the world that follow the game locally that there should be a database for the entire world. The trouble for me is that I cannot upload my scores because of the lack of a consistent interface. My only game for cricket is Cricket Revolution Cricket Classic and this is a free service offered by the developers and every month they update the game. I have not seen any reference to any kind of a database on their site. I have therefore resigned myself to the fact that I will never know what my scores for tournaments or any other specific matches were. I can look at results locally, but this is not the same as looking at worldwide results.

My memories of cricket are stuck in the 1940's and 50's. I played on a local ÃÂÂ10 side in the Scottish Cup with an old favorite name of Fowls, now I canÂt find any mention of this guy! The very first time I see cricket was in the 1975 FA Cup final. This was the first World Cup, and it was all in England. This was at the old Wembley stadium in front of a capacity crowd. I was in the youth team, but we had no one to play the full internationals because our biggest rivals, Warwickshire, were on tour. We were lucky to be able to play in this final, as the others had been cancelled due to roadworks at Cardiff.
