Mix, Route and Record Windows Audio and ASIO with O Deus Asio Link Pro 34

there are two ways to configure this. you can either use the "asio interface" option in the "settings" menu (i.e. "asio4all interface" to select an interface and configure it as asio4all does), or use the "configure" menu to route the selected asio interface as asiolink does. either way will work fine, although i'd recommend the settings menu way as it's simpler, but the config menu way is clearer.

i'm using a focusrite 2i4 (1st gen) in asio mode. i have no problems with latency or dropouts. the only problem i have is the asio driver (flac) is not very stable. i'm using windows 7 64-bit and have installed both asio4all and asio4all advanced (asio4all advanced gives you more options like "use advanced" which will disable hardware mixing) the problems are the same. i have very little understanding of the asio protocol.

it would appear that the drivers are simply incompatible. unfortunately, you don't give any information about your system nor the problems you are experiencing. the first thing i would suggest is that you install asio4all advanced and then try to use the "advanced" options to configure the device. do you have a usb to asio4all device?

one thing i noticed is that the virtual soundcard can also be set to use wdm. then i can see the devices with ffmpeg -list_devices true -f dshow -i duymmy, but recording does not yield any result, i have to ctrl-c to make it stop instead of q, and the file is zero bytes. supposedly this is because the data over the network is all asio formatted and the tesira server cannot send wdm data. ffmpeg stops at selecting the capture pin for audio only
