Is there anyone here who also chases atmospheric shots? I recently found a picture on my old phone from a hike - we were in a valley, and it started raining lightly, and the sky was like in the movies. Everything was gray-blue, and the grass was bright. Not a single person around, just silence and drops. That picture is not very clear, but it's the best of all. Now I'm thinking about where to go to catch something similar. Any favorite places?

Oh yes, I see your point. I've been into photography for a long time myself and I've noticed that perfect weather isn't always important - it's often the fog, overcast days or even drizzle that makes a shot special. When I started Idaho living , I just fell in love with the local scenery. There are places where nature looks like a fantasy setting, like the Palouse Hills or lakes in the woods, especially in the early morning. Sometimes I just drive out without a purpose, and at the most unexpected moment I catch this “shot from a dream”. If you are looking for atmosphere, I advise you to pay attention to such non-standard locations, especially in the fall or right after rain.
